Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback is naming a four-lane stretch of U.S. Highway 400 west and southeast of Neodesha, Kan., the Pack St. Clair Highway in honor of the Cobalt Boats founder and CEO.
Cobalt Boats, of Neodesha, Kan., builds sterndrive powerboats ranging from 20 to 40 feet in runabout bowriders, cuddy cabins and cruisers. The company is still family-owned and led by its founder, Paxson St. Clair.
