Cobalt Boats, of Neodesha, Kan., builds sterndrive powerboats ranging from 20 to 40 feet in runabout bowriders, cuddy cabins and cruisers. The company is still family-owned and led by its founder, Paxson St. Clair.

Pack St. Clair launched Cobalt Boats in 1968 in an unlikely locale: landlocked rural Kansas.
