BRP announced a boat show sales event for its Evinrude outboard engine brand that will continue through March 31.
Evinrude, of Sturtevant, Wis., is a maker of outboard engines and one of the brands of Valcourt, Quebec-based Bombardier Recreational Products.
BRP’s Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard engines will be installed on SeaVee Boats’ build-to-order offshore boats ranging from 29 to 43 feet.
Evinrude said its new E-TEC G2 engines will be installed on TideWater Boats.
MILWAUKEE — Propulsion system and power sport manufacturer BRP kept its cards close to its vest when it invited marine journalists from around the world to a sneak peek at its newest engine line.
STURTEVANT, Wis. — BRP’s 2012 consolidation of its Evinrude outboard operations from Waukegan, Ill., to its plant here in Wisconsin was the start of a $15 million investment program focused largely on renovation and innovation.
BRP said it added more than 50 new Evinrude dealers in recent months.

Evinrude and Rotax manufacturer BRP said it changed its upper management to accelerate its growth strategy.
Fly-fisher and media personality April Vokey signed on as an Evinrude partner for 2014.
