Electric marine engine maker Torqeedo worked with the British Broadcasting Corp. to power its natural history documentary team’s boat on the Amazon River, where the BBC filmed pink river dolphins in the water and jaguars on the shore for its “Planet Earth II” series.
Torqeedo, of Germany, is a manufacturer of electric outboard engines for recreational boats.
AMSTERDAM — The world’s largest marine equipment trade show, METS Trade, opened today at RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands to large crowds amid cool, rainy weather.
