Florida builder named finalist in business award

Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Awards

Crevalle Boats of Wildwood, Florida, has been named as a finalist in the 2019 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Awards. The builder makes a 24- and two 26-foot bay and open models.

The Florida Sterling Council and FloridaMakes association announced 33 manufacturing companies as finalists. Crevalle was named as a finalist in the “Independent Companies with 26-50 Employees” category.

The companies were judged on six categories: Leadership; strategic planning; customers; measurement; analysis, knowledge management and workforce; and operations. The finalists were chosen by examiners who are knowledgeable in manufacturing. FloridaMakes will feature the finalists in upcoming plant tours, webinars and events as examples of best practices in Florida’s manufacturing sector.

The winners will be announced at the 2019 Governor’s Sterling Awards Banquet in Orlando on May 31.
