Marine Marketers of America opens entries for 2019 Neptune Awards

The Marine Marketers of America is accepting entries for the 2019 Neptune Awards.

The annual contest is in its 12 year and is open to any company or organization that produced or published marine-industry marketing work during the 2019 calendar year. Entries are being accepted through January 13. The awards will be presented at the Progressive Miami International Boat Show in February.

The categories cover national and regional magazine and digital ads, newsletters, videos, product literature, public relations, marketing innovation and industry initiatives. A best-in-show “King Neptune” honor will be awarded to the top entry across all categories.

Submissions are scored by independent judges and last year’s competition drew a record high of 172 entries from 48 companies.

“The Neptune Awards have become increasingly competitive through the years as reflected in the exceptionally high level of creativity and quality in the entries submitted,” Sally Helme, MMA vice president and awards committee co-chair, said in a statement. “We encourage marine marketers to take advantage of this opportunity to promote and showcase their best work to their peers in the industry.”
