ABBRA offering project management certification at Refit Show

A new marine industry certification in project management will be available through the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association at the Refit Show in Fort Lauderdale in January.

Show attendees can plan to attend ABBRA Project Management Certification courses that will debut at the Refit Show. ABBRA is working with The Landing School to develop the six-seminar series, which will be delivered over two days, Jan. 10-11, at the Broward County Convention Center.

Seminars required to complete the certification include Project Management Basics; The Art of Estimating; Boat Refit & Building Economics; Team Building and Communications; Project Control and Leadership; and Refit Case Study.

Refit Show attendees who successfully complete all six courses will earn an ABBRA badge. All of the courses also are open to show attendees who are not seeking certification.
