Sailboats are gathering in downtown Annapolis, Md., for the fifth annual Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, which opens Friday and will continue through Sunday.
Susan Campbell Park will offer spectacular water views and seating for patrons to relax, listen to live music, win prizes, watch a regatta and enjoy free food and drink tastings.
"There are so many excellent reasons to attend this weekend's sailboat show," Annapolis Boat Shows president and general manager Paul Jacobs said in a statement. "It is a perfect destination if you are thinking of getting into sailing or if you are getting ready to purchase a boat."
More than 100 sailboats, new and brokerage, will be on display in the water and on land, including catamarans, monohulls, family cruisers, daysailers and bluewater sailboats. Most of the boats are available for immediate sale.
The sailboat show will have the latest in navigational equipment, high-tech electronics, inflatables, boating accessories, clothing, gear and related services, such as boating clubs, charter companies, insurance firms and lending institutions.
