A 26-foot custom Hacker-Craft Racer will be at the Luxury Review in New York City today.

Naval architect and Hacker-Craft founder John Jacker wanted to encourage racing by designing a boat built by sporting enthusiasts. In 1923, he published the design of the boat in Motor Boating magazine for the public to use in building their own racing boats.

The antique Hacker-Craft will join luxury car models being unveiled at the event. Models include Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, the McLaren 650S and Ducati 1200 Motorcycle.

The Luxury Review is a press showcase that displays the latest luxury products and services.

Invited attendees for this event include members of the press and the media industry, editors, product analysts, studio executives, product integration and product placement professionals, TV/film producers, personal shoppers, stylists and affluent consumers.

The event will take place at The Altman Building at 135 W. 18th St. between 6th and 7th avenues. Press and media are invited between 4 and 6 p.m.; from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the event will be open to VIP guests and clients only.
