Trawler Fest, the cruising-under-power lifestyle event produced by PassageMaker magazine, announced Warwick, R.I., as the location for its New England show.

Trawler Fest Warwick will take place July 15-17 at the Brewer Greenwich Bay Marina.

The event will feature more than 30 exhibitors showcasing a variety of boating products and services. More than 30 boats will be on display for attendees to board.

Seminar topics include Troubleshooting Spare Parts and Tools for the Cruiser, with Steve D'Antonio; Building Cruising Confidence as a Couple, with Captains Chris and Alyse Caldwell; Women on the Water: Concerns, Challenges and Rewards of Living Aboard, with Kim Peterson; and Cruising Chesapeake Bay, with Jack Dozier.

America's Cup Hall of Fame member Ted Hood will lead Innovation in Yacht Design and Construction from 1960-2010.

Thursday and Friday evenings will include a cocktail reception and dinner with such programs as Trivia Night and a Mardi Gras party. On Saturday evening, a presentation of PassageMaker's People's Choice Award will take place.

Newport Harbor Corp., the creator and producer of the Newport Yacht & Lifestyle Collection, announced that its inaugural show is set for June 16-19, 2011.

The concept behind the Newport Yacht & Lifestyle Collection is that superyacht owners and their guests, captains and crew, along with the industry that supports them, will benefit from a new way of experiencing new builds, and brokerage and charter yachts, organizers say.

Exhibitors will include yacht companies, destination marketers, and luxury lifestyle companies and products.

Enterprise Florida is arranging a Florida pavilion for this year's Cannes International Boat & Yacht Show, one of the world's leading marine trade shows.

It's scheduled for Sept. 8-13 at the Port de Cannes in Cannes, France. Florida companies can reserve display space by contacting Julie Balzano, director for marine industry sector at Enterprise Florida at (305) 808-3660 or

The registration deadline is May 26.

The Cannes boat show features more than 500 boats in the water and 465 exhibitors from 25 nations. Attendance last year totaled more than 63,000.
