Visitors to the TakeMeFishing.org Web site will find discounts to boating, fishing and sport shows around the country.

“Knowing that these shows successfully attract qualified prospects and serve as an important source of information for prospective buyers, we wanted to leverage the success we’ve experienced with TakeMeFishing.org to help promote them,” said Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation president and CEO Frank Peterson.

TakeMeFishing.org was relaunched last April and has attracted more than 1 million visitors. Those interested may click on “Event Discounts” to get the link to a specific show.

“The boat shows are where dealers garner their prospect list for the year,” said Phil Keeter, president of the Marine Retailers Association of America. “Attendees are interested in the boating lifestyle and are prime prospects to purchase a boat in the near future. It’s wonderful to see all parts of the industry come together to promote boating and fishing. RBFF’s effort to encourage attendance at these shows is welcome.”
