Boat show in Greece set for May

Yacht companies in Greece established a Greek Yachting Association and announced a Mediterranean Yacht Show, which will run May 3-7 in Nafplion.

Association members are in the fields of charter, brokerage, management, insurance and the construction of large yachts.

The association said in a statement that its objectives are to maintain high standards of professionalism in charter, sales and yacht management; to closely coordinate with the MYBA (the Worldwide Yacht Association) and that group’s members; and organize an annual charter yacht show for Greek and foreign flag charter yachts under central agency agreement.

The new Greek association and its members represent more than 90 percent of the crewed charter yachts in Greece under central agency agreement.
