Brooks Marine Group adds Rhode Island office

Management recruiting firm Brooks Marine Group will open its Newport, R.I., office on May 24.

BMG adds the Newport location to its Wilmington, N.C., site and satellite office in Fort Lauderdale.

The Newport office is located within the International Yacht Restoration School. Core markets include New England and the Midwest, while the Wilmington and Fort Lauderdale locations service BMG's client companies in the Southeast and Northwest and growing global customer base throughout Europe, the Mideast, Far East and Australasia.

"We're noting a significant uptick in industry hiring," said Neal Harrell, BMG's principal, in a statement. "With companies gearing up for recovery in 2010 and beyond, it's important to us that BMG be represented in critical marine markets."
