The 19th China (Shanghai) International Boat Show will take place April 10-13 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The China International Boat Show has already sold 80 percent of exhibit space, organizers said. An estimated 550 exhibitors will display yachts, maritime projects and nautical equipment, organizers said.

National pavilions organized by the U.S., Italian, Australian and Spanish governments, along with the Taiwan Regional Pavilion, have confirmed to join the event.

The show has grown virtually every year since its inception in an underground parking garage 18 years ago.

Attendance at the 2013 show increased 10 percent, with 34,822 visitors from 51 countries.
