Connecticut Spring In-Water Boat Show announces exhibitors

The 3rd Annual Connecticut Spring Boat Show will be held May 4-6 at Brewer Essex Island Marina in Essex, Conn., and will feature boats from Albemarle, American Tug, Back Cove, Beneteau, Boston Whaler, Buzzards Bay, Catalina, Chris Craft, Cutwater, Dufour, Dyer, East Bay, Formula, Four Winns, Grand Banks, Hunt, Legacy, Mainship, Maxim, Meridian, MJM, Monterey, Nordic Tug, Ranger Tug, Rossiter, Sabre, San Juan, Scarab, Scout, Sea Born, Sea Ray, Shelter Island, Southport, Surfhunter, Tiara, Vanquish and more.

The in-water show gives potential buyers the opportunity to sea-trial a boat before buying, which is rare for a smaller regional event. Organizers expect more than 3,000 attendees. Additionally, the $5 entry donation will go to Sails Up 4 Cancer, a non-profit organization that supports cancer care, prevention and research.

In addition to the boats in the water, the show will have SUP board and kayak demonstrations and gear, accessories and service companies including Action Sports, Boatique USA, Boat Name Gear, CareFree Boat Club, Connecticut River Museum, East Coast Trailers, Essex Corinthian Yacht Club, Fitzpatrick Marine Insurance, Freedom Boat Club, Nautical Circuits, NMI-Permateek, Pantaenuis America, Save the Sound, The Dock Shop, Untold Horizons, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and Windcheck magazine.
