The International Marina & Boatyard Conference posted a call for presenters for the conference, which is slated for Jan. 28-30, 2015, at the Tampa (Fla.) Convention Center.

Organizers said presentations should be designed for intermediate to advanced levels of experience without overt company or product promotions. The deadline for submitting presentations is April 28.

IMBC breakout seminars will be organized by coastal, inland, boatyard and marina design and engineering tracks. Within those tracks the topics will include marina operations, emergency response tactics, construction, legal considerations for marinas on federally leased lands, boatyard operations, marketing, management, revenue generation, expense management, customer service, environmental issues, human resources and marina law.

Plenary sessions will focus on business topics, which organizers said appeal to the entire IMBC audience.

"We reach out to the industry every year to ensure IMBC's topics are both timely and relevant," Association of Marina Industries chairman Jeff Rose said in a statement. "With such a diverse audience of marina owners, operators, engineers and industry consultants, we have to work hard to appeal to everyone."
