Organizers of the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, set to take place Nov. 15-18 in Orlando, Fla., opened registration with a new marketing campaign that includes an updated logo and fresh imagery.

“MDCE attendees are a pretty diverse group, but what they share in common is a drive to be the best in delivering the boating lifestyle to their customers,” Marine Retailers Association of the Americas vice president Liz Walz said in a statement.

The MRAA produces the annual event in partnership with Boating Industry.

“This year’s marketing campaign celebrates that drive and MDCE’s unique ability to fulfill it through education, networking, products and services that help dealers take their business to the next level,” Walz said.

Marine retailers who register in April receive a $50 discount off the full conference rate of $499. MRAA members receive an additional $75 off their registration, for a total discount of $125, which results in the lowest registration rate of the year.

“There’s no other event that gives marine retailers so many opportunities for growth and improvement under one roof,” Boating Industry editor-in-chief Jonathan Sweet said. “The special pricing available in April represents an incredible value, especially when you consider all the new offerings we’ve been adding in recent years.”

Last year the MDCE attracted more than 580 dealers. Forty percent of them attended for the first time. The MRAA’s goal is to grow the event to more than 1,000 dealer conferees.
