Florida Gulf Coast show returns in June

The Onshore Offshore Boat Show will return June 20-22 to a renovated Bradenton Area Convention Center, which is the former Manatee Civic Center.

The event will feature new boats, boating accessories and fishing gear.

New this year, the Captain Joe Fishing School will provide bait, tackle and line for hands-on seminars led by expert anglers. Depending on the topic, participants will rig lures, tie knots or learn to throw a cast net.

Admission is $5. Children 12 and under will be admitted free. Parking will be free throughout the weekend.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 20 and 21, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22.

On June 20, attendees can purchase two adult tickets for the price of one, courtesy of the Bradenton Herald.

June 22 will be Community Day Sunday. Half of all ticket sales revenue that day will go to Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, courtesy of Bright House Networks.
