The 41st Stuart (Fla.) Boat Show opens today for a three-day event along the city’s waterfront.
“We are expecting over 180 local, national and international exhibitors at this year’s show, with hundreds of boats in water and on land,” show producer and AllSports Productions owner Skip Allen Jr. said in a statement.
Organizers said many boat brands will be represented, including the latest models of motoryachts, cruisers, trawlers, skiffs, speedboats, sportfishing boats and pontoons. Boats ranging from 12 to more than 80 feet and priced from thousands to millions of dollars will be on display.
Visitors also will be able to check out the latest in personal watercraft, marine electronics, outboard and inboard engines, boating equipment and accessories, boat lifts, fishing gear, nautical clothing and jewelry and financing and insurance companies.
Allen announced the return of the Hook the Future Kids’ Fishing Clinic; there will be two seminars on Saturday and two on Sunday. The event aims to teach children and their parents about topics that include fishing and water safety. The first 50 children at each seminar will receive a free rod and reel.
There also will be multiple enter-to-win drawings for adults. Marine artist Carey Chen will donate a painting.
