Fort Lauderdale mayor to mark show’s 50th anniversary

Tonight, Fort Lauderdale Mayor John P. "Jack" Seiler will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with a commemorative show proclamation.

Within this proclamation, Seiler will congratulate the show on its major milestone, speak on the economic vitality the show adds to the community and announce Oct. 29-Nov. 2 as official "Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Days."

The announcement will take place at the City Commission meeting.
