Friday panels in Miami feature Trade Only

Soundings Trade Only is participating in two panel discussions on Friday at the Miami International Boat Show.

Boating Writers International will present "The Future of Marine Journalism" at 8:30 a.m. in room B-115 of the Miami Beach Convention Center. The panel includes John Burnham, editorial director at YachtWorld.com and Boats.com; Tim Cole, executive vice president at Belvoir Media Group; Duncan McIntosh, group publisher of Editor & Publisher and three boating titles; David Ritchie, editorial director at Bonnier Marine Group; and Bill Sisson, editor-in-chief of Soundings Trade Only.

At 9:30 a.m., a workshop on alternative mixed media will take place, also at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The speakers will include Great Lakes Scuttlebutt, Avala Marketing, BoatU.S., Boating Broadcast, World of Boating & ScubaRadio, Mad Mariner and Soundings Trade Only.

The workshop will take place in room B-114.
