Hispanic marketing expert Ed Cantu of the market research firm Lopez Negrete will speak at an Oct. 30 luncheon sponsored by the Marine Marketers of America at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation hired Lopez Negrete to lead its Hispanic marketing plan.
"Marine marketers have been hearing the statistics for the past few years about the emerging Hispanic market, so we're hosting a luncheon program that focuses on ways that your company can poise itself to take advantage of this new and highly lucrative opportunity,” Marine Marketers of America president and Freedom Boat Club chief marketing officer Wanda Kenton Smith said.
“We're especially pleased to hear from Hispanic marketing expert Ed Cantu, who will share the RBFF mystery shopping results from visits to more than 20 boat retailers and dealerships, along with providing smart tips and tactics to help marine marketers design and develop a marketing strategy.”
Pre-event networking will start at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon and program will follow from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Bahia Mar Resort. The cost is $33 in advance (via PayPal) and $38 at the door.
