Producers of the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition & Conference have lined up 50 in-depth educational sessions covering the most advanced boatbuilding technologies available today.
"Now more than ever, education is a vital component to our industry's ability to grow and flourish," said Carl Cramer, co-director of IBEX and publisher of Professional Boatbuilder magazine, in a statement. "How a company responds to the pressures of our economic environment will define how they emerge. This year's IBEX seminars will allow a company the opportunity to explore alternatives to the ways in which our industry 'used to do' business."
The IBEX 2009 technical seminar program is organized and produced by Professional Boatbuilder magazine, the American Boat and Yacht Council, American Boat Builders and Repairers Association, Marine Industry Training and Education Council and National Marine Manufacturers Association. The sessions are offered in nine professional tracks and will be presented by more than 100 industry professionals.
In conjunction with the conference series, IBEX 2009 will host more than 500 exhibitors in three exhibit halls. IBEX also offers a Composite Pavilion, live outdoor demonstrations and 20 free exhibitor workshops.
IBEX 2009 will take place Oct. 12-14 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
