IBEX Announces Keynotes and Special Events
The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference has released details of its keynote and special session roster for IBEX Online: A Virtual Experience, slated for Sept. 29-Oct. 2.
IBEX show director Anne Dunbar will deliver a welcome address at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 29, followed by a state-of-the-industry from National Marine Manufacturers Association president Frank Hugelmeyer.
The 2020 NMMA Have of Fame recipient and 2020 Innovation Award winners will be named at this time as well.
In a keynote titled “Charting the Course of Sustainability,” set for Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m., Kevin Grodzki of Brunswick Corp. will speak to sustainability techniques that allow companies to create marine products that that support quality of life in both the short-term and the long-term.
Finally, Trade Only Today editor-in-chief Jeff Moser will moderate a panel discussion with industry leaders to discuss their approach to leadership in a pandemic, what they’ve learned since the Covid-19 crisis struck, and how they’re planning to move forward. That discussion will take place Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m.
“Often one of the high points of IBEX are the special sessions,” said Dunbar in a statement. “By removing the limitations of the physical space needed for breakfasts and large auditoriums, we are looking forward to including more attendees than being on-site allowed us. The programs we have planned for these sessions will be informative and exciting. All industry professionals are able join us this year.”
