IBEX Education Conference Schedule Announced

Attendees of the 30th Anniversary IBEX Show, scheduled for September 28-30, in Florida’s Tampa Convention Center, will benefit from the world-class technical information covered in the IBEX Education Conference prior to the show.

The conferences kick off with sessions on Sun., Sept. 26 and Mon., Sept. 27, in full- and half-day formats. Example sessions include Soundings Trade Only’s Leadership Summit, ABYC certification, electronics installer training, Marina 101, NMEA basic marine, stability standards for boats over 20 feet and more.

“The Education Conference at IBEX is customized each year to offer in-depth knowledge on the trends, methods, and materials that matter now and are needed to move our industry forward, and it is one is one of the key components of the Show,” show director Anne Dunbar said in a statement. “For our 30th Anniversary, we have assembled a fantastic roster of presenters on some of the most cutting-edge topics in the industry.”

Sessions will be offered in eight tracks:

• Construction methods and materials

• Design and engineering

• Emerging topics

• Management policy

• Marina and boatyard operations

• Marine electrical systems

• Marine onboard systems

• Survey and repair
