IBEX hires firm for show promotion

The International BoatBuilders' Exhibition & Conference selected Rhodes Communications to provide advertising, marketing and public relations services for the annual marine industry trade show.

Owned and produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Professional BoatBuilder magazine, IBEX brings together all elements of the boating industry, including boatbuilders, naval architects, marine engineers, equipment suppliers, distributors, dealers and other marine professionals.

“We chose Rhodes Communications because of their proven track record of successful promotions for clients in the marine industry,” Professional BoatBuilder publisher and IBEX co-director Carl Cramer said in a statement. “The company clearly understands the unique dynamics and drivers of the boating business and we believe they will give us a fresh infusion of creative thinking and focus for IBEX 2012 and beyond.”

IBEX 2012 is scheduled for Oct. 2-4 at the Kentucky Exhibition Center in Louisville.
