IBEX Registration Now Open

Publish date:

Organizers have announced that registration is now open for IBEX Online: A Virtual Experience. The event will run from Sept. 29-Oct. 2.

“Working closely with our partners, we have developed an online event that promises a unique way for industry colleagues to explore the latest offerings from our exhibitors, take part in world-class education opportunities and network safely,” said show director Anne Dunbar in a statement.

Registration is required — Dunbar reminded that “it’s important to pre-register for full access to all that IBEX Online has to offer.”

Exhibiting companies will be getting an exhibitor-specific registration link separately in the coming weeks that will provide access to both the virtual event and their customized virtual booths that will offer in-depth product detail, video content and interactive meetings, according to organizers.

“The new virtual experience will make it easy for everyone to connect with the specific products and people they seek. [IBEX] will include virtual matchmaking and connection recommendations. Registered visitors will be able to interact with exhibitors by requesting meetings and information, and chat live with exhibitor booth staff,” organizers said.

The education pillar will continue with the IBEX Seminar Series via livestreams — with interactive Q&A sessions — and by way of prerecorded interviews and conversations.

Daily keynote sessions — included in all attendees’ virtual registration — will take place throughout the show. Topics will include sustainability via the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association on Sept. 30, the state of the industry and more. Soundings Trade Only will moderate a leadership summit Oct. 1.

Organizers suggest checking the site as updates to keynote sessions and more are being added weekly.

“At its core, IBEX is the place the industry comes to network, discover the latest offerings from our exhibitors, learn from respected leaders and innovators, and grow their businesses,” Dunbar says. “IBEX Online: A Virtual Experience will be no different, prioritizing these categories while leveraging the latest in virtual trade-show technology.”
