IBEX will include focus on emissions

With the Environmental Protection Agency’s evaporative-emissions rule now final, IBEX 2008 will offer two opportunities to help attending boatbuilders gain critical knowledge and solutions specific to this issue.

To assist boatbuilders in identifying some of the new products and technologies that are available to meet these regulations, the IBEX exhibit halls will offer an “Evaporative Emissions Solutions Route.” More than 20 exhibitors have qualified to be included on the route. Also, a seminar called “Boat Fuel Systems: Design and Compliance” is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7.
