The Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show opens tomorrow at the Metropolitan Park & Marina in Jacksonville, Fla., and runs through Sunday.

The event will feature a variety of boats on land and in the water plus fishing equipment and boating accessory displays. Some of the feature attractions for the weekend will include fishing seminars. Captain Chris Rooney is going to share tips for bottom fishing on Saturday and Sunday. Following Rooney will be Tim Altman, who will give details about high-speed trolling for Wahoo. Tony Eden will provide secrets for going after Cobia on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Rooney and Dennis Young will also cover offshore trolling and rigging bait Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

For kids, Captain Don will teach kids how to catch big fish on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors to the show can take a ride on The Tiki Boat Saturday at different points during the show. The rides are provided by Freedom Boat Club.

For those who prefer adult beverages at sunset, the Miss Hadley will host a sunset cruise on Saturday.

Fans of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie series can meet Captain Jack Sparrow (no, not Johnny Depp), Anne Bonny and Mary Read as they wander the show on both days. Jax 4 Kids will have a Kid Zone with a caricature artist, a balloon artist, a face painter and a bounce house.
