JFK yawl will be featured at U.S. Sailboat Show exhibit
The National Sailing Hall of Fame & Sailing Center's exhibition at the upcoming U.S. Sailboat Show will feature the 1936 Sparkman & Stephens yawl Manitou, the mahogany 62-footer John F. Kennedy sailed while he was President.
Manitou was built by M.M. Davis & Sons in Solomons Island, Md.
Also on display will be the conceptual model and drawing of the Hall of Fame facility to be located on Annapolis City Dock.
The U.S. Sailboat Show starts Thursday and runs through Monday.
