Marine dealer conference is under way

The Marine Dealer Conference & Expo starts today in Orlando, Fla.

Organizers say more than 400 dealers have pre-registered for the event and more than 70 marine industry suppliers have signed up to sponsor or exhibit at this year's conference.

Tonight's keynote address on leading through turbulent times will be given by the Disney Institute. Sessions Tuesday and Wednesday will be divided into two tracks with sessions devoted to sales and marketing, dealer service departments and financial issues.

The final two sessions of the event will feature industry-leading dealers and manufacturers discussing the most pressing topics facing the boating industry today.

The event also includes lunches and networking sessions and concludes Wednesday night with a gala honoring Boating Industry magazine's Top 100 Dealers.

Soundings Trade Only will cover the event live for Trade Only Today.
