Marketing group to host panel in Miami

Marine Marketers of America will host a professional development/educational panel Feb. 13 during the Miami International Boat Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The panel, “Web 2.0 and Beyond,” will present recommendations for Internet marketing and Web design, as well as the latest trends and opportunities in cyberspace. Panelists include Glen Justice of madmariner.com, Courtney Chalmers of boattrader.com, Leonard Boord of theboaters.com, Mike Staley of Bonnier Marine Corporation and Jared Jester of Jester Communications. Jim Rhodes of Rhodes Communication will moderate.

“More and more, marine marketers are required to have a working knowledge and a skill set necessary to navigate all aspects of the Internet and to build and understand how to maximize web design and related platforms,” said Wanda Kenton Smith, MMA president, in a statement.
