New England show returns to Boston in February

The 2014 Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show will take place Feb. 22-March 2 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Attracting thousands of sailboat and powerboat enthusiasts, the Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show is the Northeast’s largest show.

More than 300,000 square feet will be filled with boats and nautical equipment — ranging from navigational tools to hardware and galleyware — for all budgets and lifestyles.

The show also offers seminars for DIY boaters, informational clinics for those of all experience levels and hands-on activities for young skippers and families.

A highlight of the nine-day event will be an appearance by fisherman Dave Marciano of National Geographic’s “Wicked Tuna,” who will be signing autographs Feb. 28-30.
