Northrop & Johnson holds charity event in Fort Lauderdale

Northrop & Johnson hosted a yacht hop and charity event last Saturday at its stand at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show that it said raised $150,000 for a local charity.

The company said more than 200 guests joined to help raise money for Kids In Distress, a Fort Lauderdale-based charity dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of family and the treatment of children who have suffered neglect and abuse.

Guests mixed, mingled and enjoyed cocktails and canapes while visiting Northrop & Johnson superyachts. Proceeds from ticket sales benefited KID, and silent and live auctions were held to raise additional funds.
