The 55th annual Portland (Ore.) Boat Show is set for Jan. 7-11 with 250,000 square feet of exhibit space featuring ski boats, fishing boats, sailboats, personal watercraft and accessories.

The Portland Expo Center also will feature a beer-tasting area, children’s boatbuilding and Portland’s Christmas ships and antique boats. The event will showcase live 35-pound and larger rainbow trout.

The show also will feature used boats.

There will be opportunities to win a fishing trip to the Puerto Escondido (Mexico) International Billfish Tournament in November. The trip includes six nights at Hotel Paraiso, round-trip airfare from Portland to Puerto Escondido and three days of intense tournament fishing on a super panga.
