Pacific Sail and Powerboat Show releases seminar schedule

The Pacific Sail and Powerboat Show and Marine Sports Expo, set for April 19-22 at the Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, Calif., has released its Cruising Seminar Series for the event.

Free seminars cover topics such as “Learning to Sail in the 21st Century,” “Medical Emergencies While Cruising,” “Provisioning Tips,” and “Discover Many Different Paths to Sailing.”

Advanced seminars, which range from $49 to $249,” address topics including “Marine Diesel Engines: Maintenance and Troubleshooting,” “The Surface Pressure Chart Workshop,” and “Couples Offshore Cruising.”

On-water clinics — “Cast Off for Cruising” and “Power Cruising on San Francisco Bay” — are $75.

New sail and powerboats will be on display including Jeanneau America’s Sun Odyssey 440, the new 49-foot Princess, the RS Zest, as well as marine products.
