Palm Beach show returns in March

The 30th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show will be held March 26-29 and feature more than $1.2 billion worth of boats, yachts and accessories along Flagler Drive.

The event includes hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables, powerboats, fishing boats and personal watercraft to center consoles, bowriders and superyachts larger than 150 feet.

A new on-the-water learning event will teach basic and advanced hands-on skills training.

Admission to the Palm Beach International Boat Show is $20 for adults ($18 online). Children ages 6-15 will be admitted for $10, and admission is free for youngsters under 6.

The show is owned and sponsored by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and organized by Fort Lauderdale-based Show Management. Active Interest Media is the parent company of Show Management and Soundings Trade Only.


Suzuki sponsoring TV show

Mike Frisch, host of Fishing the Midwest television series, announced that Suzuki would be the exclusive outboard motor of the show.

Sea Tow Foundation appoints new directors

The nonprofit Sea Tow Foundation has announced the return of Gail R. Kulp as executive director. Michael Wesolowski, the former executive director, is now the director of external affairs.
