Raymarine renewed its sponsorship of the Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement at Metstrade. The electronics company will be the title sponsor for 2019 and 2020.

Metstrade is scheduled for Nov. 19-21 at the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam.

“We are very proud of our association with the IBI-Metstrade Boat Builder Awards and to have remained title sponsor since they launched in 2015,” Grégoire Outters, vice president and general manager of FLIR’s maritime segment, said in a statement. “We are delighted to continue our commitment to this prestigious, global event, which celebrates the outstanding achievements of the boatbuilding industry.”

Lighting provider Lumishore will sponsor an award for a collaborative solution between a superyacht builder (yachts larger than 78 feet) and its supply-chain partner, and Ultraflex will sponsor an award for a collaborative solution between a production builder and its supply-chain partner for boats smaller than 78 feet.

Fusion will sponsor an award for on-board design solutions, and Dometic is supporting innovation in a production process award category.

Italian trade federation UCINA is sponsoring the environmental initiative award, and Gurit is backing the rising-star category.

Recruitment specialists Marine Resources is putting its name behind a best apprenticeship or training award, and a lifetime achievement award will be sponsored by Side-Power.
