Sail America published a preliminary brochure detailing plans for its biennial Industry Conference, which will take place June 9-11 at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina in Charleston, S.C.

The brochure includes information about the conference's 20-plus educational sessions, special events such as the Sailing Industry Dinner and Sail America's Regatta, and general information about the event.

Sail America has compiled a list of speakers that includes Ken Read, of North Sails; Dawn Riley, of Oakcliff Sailing; Tim Claxton, of Dominion Marine Media; Dean Brenner, of the Latimer Group; and Wayne Burdick, of Beneteau USA.

Other presenters include professional speaker Ryan Jenkins, author David McNair, marine lawyer Julius H. "Sam" Hines and author Nick Hayes.

Session topics include marketing to millennials; the growth potential of ownership models; engaging new sailing audiences; video advertising; and how you can use mobile apps to engage your customer base.

"The preliminary brochure gives Sail America a way to inform industry professionals about conference activities and seminar topics," Sail America association manager Peter Durant said in a statement. "It provides a look into the sessions we are planning. We've got a great lineup."
