The show will include new exhibitors and the reintroduction of the fashion show and new product review.

Free trout fishing for children and the Ram Ultimate Air Dogs also will return.

The theme of the 2016 show is "Celebrate the Passion.” Organizers said Sergio and the “Angler Chronicles” crew have produced a new episode to air on Fox Sports West that highlights many of the popular exhibits and gives viewers an in-depth look at the show from its inception in 1946. The San Diego location is in its 38th year.

Bart Hall provides information about how and when the show was started by his father, Fred, and information about the coming show.
