Snyder's Shipyard and Maple Marine Design Group announced a joint venture to build the Scotia 44.

The Scotia 44 has completed sea trials and is ready to debut Feb. 16-20 at the 2012 Miami Strictly Sail Show. Built by Snyder's Shipyard in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and designed by Maple Marine, the boat is a twin-diesel, dual-helm expedition yacht with a deck salon and pilothouse.

The U.S. market will be handled by Jordan Yacht and Ship in Fort Lauderdale.
