The Seattle Boat Show, Indoors and Afloat, opens Jan. 24 and continues through Feb. 2 at CenturyLink Field and on South Lake Union.

A free shuttle is available to transport attendees between the indoor CenturyLink Field location, where recreational watercraft, seminars and accessories will be available, and South Lake Union, where boats will be displayed in the water.

More than 1,000 watercraft will be exhibited at the Seattle Boat Show, which organizers say is the largest show on the West Coast.

Seminars include topics such as “Cruising the coast of the Great Bear Rainforest: the central and north coast of British Columbia,” and “Boat Buyers University 101,” which will help prospective buyers determine which boat is right for them.

An Uncorked wine event will be held from 5 -10 p.m. on the show’s opening night, offering guests wines from the Washington state region while allowing them to peruse boats.

Sails & Ales will feature craft beers from 5-10 p.m. on Jan. 31. There will be nine tasting stations throughout the indoor location at CenturyLink Field.

On Women’s Day, Jan. 27, women will have free access to the show and there will be seminars designed for and by female boaters. Topics include no-impact docking; advanced anchoring; “I’ve never owned a boat but sailed the world”; and a panel on Northwest Women in Boating.
