The show opens Sept. 10 and continues through Sept. 14. It is sponsored by Word Yachts.

New in-water exhibitors this year include Denison Yacht Sales Inc.; JK3 Yacht Sales; Silver Seas Yachts; Specialty Yacht Sales Corp.; Stan Miller Yachts; and West Bay Sonship Yachts Ltd.

New shoreside exhibitors include American Family Insurance; Fisheries Supply Co.; Global Marine Insurance; Helly Hansen; Outdoor Emporium; Seakeeper Inc.; and Word Yachts.

Youngsters ages 8 to 16 will be able to get on the water and be introduced to small-boat sailing with 60-minute free sailboat lessons, courtesy of Sail Sandpoint. Organizers said the Center for Wooden Boats’ hands-on toy boatbuilding is for all ages. New this year, Radio Disney Seattle will be onsite hosting water fun and safety activities and giving away prizes.

The show is offering a series of free one-hour seminars Sept. 12-14 with topics geared to seasoned boat owners as well as first time buyers.

Hampton Yacht Docking lessons will include 25 minutes of classroom training and 20 minutes of in-water demonstration, and will be held once a day from Sept. 12-14.
