Arrangements are under way for spring boat shows to be held April 28-29 at Brewer Greenwich Bay Marina in Warwick, R.I., and Brewer Pilots Point Marina in Westbrook, Conn.

The shows are designed for the used-boat seller and buyer and will be free to the public and its participants.

“The public loved the idea of a free show,” Brewer Yacht Sales vice president and general manager David Pugsley said in a statement. “Boat shows have become expensive and are dominated by new-boat dealers. As part of the Brewer Yacht Yards we are uniquely positioned to offer our customers the ability to display their boats in two of Brewer’s premier locations.”

Owners will be aboard to answer questions, but the vessels will not be operated at the show. Sea trials and surveys will be done after the show, and only when offers are agreed upon.
