The Boat China & Water Sports Expo will return May 10-12.

The show, which debuted in 2010, is also known as the Guangzhou International Boat Show and organizers say it is the largest boating event in South China. It is also the first boat show supported by the Chinese government.

More than 200 exhibitors — about 50 more than last year — are expected to participate, including Azimut, Pershing and Sunseeker. The venue is the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou.

The predominantly powerboat show also includes sailing yachts, RIBs and dinghies, as well as commercial craft.

The 2013 Yacht Industry Summit Forum will be held during the first day of the boat show and will gather local yacht builders, marinas and clubs to discuss yacht investment, financing and management.
