The Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show opens today and the Progressive Insurance Los Angeles Boat Show starts Thursday.

In Atlantic City, visitors will have the chance to meet Capt. Dave Carraro from the National Geographic Channel’s “Wicked Tuna.”

Consumers can learn about fly fishing through daily demos, as well as take part in paddlesports seminars at the new simul-cast pond and daily do-it-yourself workshops at the popular Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center.

The show will also offer daily boating and fishing seminars, as well as activities for the family to get children interested in boating early.

The Los Angeles show returns with its Try It Cove area, where attendees can try out paddlesports ranging from kayaking to SUP. It also will feature the Discover Boating Hands-On Skills Training series at the Marina del Rey location, along with the Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center.

The show will offer an all-new Kids’ Zone and Big Boat Row, featuring a selection of yachts at the Los Angeles Convention Center 35 feet and larger, plus daily seminars for new and experienced boaters.

Both shows run through Sunday.
