The 31st annual Suncoast Boat Show opened this morning in Sarasota and will run through Sunday at Marina Jack.

Hundreds of boats from the Gulf Coast's leading boatbuilders and dealers will be on display, along with a full range of marine electronics, products and accessories

The show is produced by Show Management, which is owned by Active Interest Media, the company that owns Soundings Trade Only.

"With more than 30 years in Sarasota, the Suncoast Boat Show is an annual attraction that boaters from the region look forward to year after year," Show Management senior vice president and COO Dane Graziano said in a statement. "The show offers a great setting for boaters of all types to get together, enjoy the day and check out all the latest and greatest gear and designs."

Navigating the show will be easier because of enhancements to the MyBoatShow smartphone app, designed to help visitors explore the show's docks, land tents and transportation.

Marina Jack will offer fresh seafood and other dining specialties with panoramic views of the marina, downtown, Sarasota Bay, Big Pass and the Gulf of Mexico.
