Trade group offers boat show calculator

Companies that want to exhibit at a show can use a new and free boat show calculator to find out the cost of participating.

Developed by the German Marine Industry Association, the resource allows users to calculate all costs involved in exhibiting at a boat show. The calculator is supported by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations and the International Council of Boat Show Organizers.

All possible expenditures, from ceiling suspensions and power connections to forklift trucks and press material presentations, is taken into consideration. A currency calculator is also provided on the website to provide the costs in various currencies. The boat show calculator offers the option of sorting trade fairs by region.

European shows dominate the listings on the calculator. The listed shows are International Federation of Boat Show Organizers members or German Marine Industry Association-owned or affiliated shows. Boat shows that would like to be listed on the calculator can e-mail
