From Memorial Day through Labor Day, US Sailing will be traveling the East Coast to yacht clubs and community sailing centers to interact in events as part of the U.S. Sailing Road Show.

Here are a few ways that US Sailing's Road Show can participate in a club's events and programs:

  • Promotion: The group can help advertise a club's big event and use video, daily recaps and social media platforms to share special moments with the sailing community.
  • Sailing: Need more crew? US Sailing personnel are available to race.
  • Instruction: Road Show coordinators will be certified instructors with coaching experience. They can help with learn-to-sail programs and clinics.
  • General Support: US Sailing can help yacht clubs and sailing centers reach event management and operations goals.

Workers Wanted

Like most people born in 1990, Justin Bennett was on a four-year college track. He and his parents took it for granted that he would attend college before moving on to a steady desk job — until a stint at sailing camp, and later as a counselor, helped Bennett discover his passion for boats.

Momentum from Boat Shows Expected to Continue

Seventy percent of boat dealers who responded to a monthly survey said they had at least “somewhat positive” momentum emerging from winter boat shows, with 38 percent saying momentum was “very strong” or “strong.”
