The Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat, RV & Strictly Sail Show opens today in McCormick Place’s South Hall.

Nearly 600 powerboat, sailing, RV, fishing and outdoors exhibitors will be displaying in more than 725,00 square feet of space, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the group that runs the event.

The show, which will continue through Monday, also has an extensive lineup of interactive features to attract visitors, including the Progressive Insurance Boat School, Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center and Paddlefest.

This year the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series will be at the show, offering visitors an opportunity to purchase tickets to the race before they are made available to the public, an opportunity to meet members of Oracle Team USA and a chance to see the Cup during the weekend.
