BARCELONA, Spain — The producers of the Barcelona International Boat Show, which wrapped up Sunday in the Mediterranean port city, reported 53,000 visitors at the five-day show.

Although the Spanish economy is just beginning to show signs of recovery, organizers were optimistic that the country’s recreational marine market will follow in its wake.

About 650 vessels, from dinghies to superyachts, power and sail, including 70 new models, were on display in the water and on land.
